GAIL (INDIA) LIMITED RECRUITMENT – 2013, FOR POST OF EXECUTIVE TRAINEE: - GAIL (India) Limited Invites Applications for the post of Executive Trainee in the Disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Chemical Engineering through GATE -2014. Details for the same is given below, Interested and eligible candidates may for the same.

NAME OF POSTS & ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:-

Executive Trainee (Mechanical): To apply for this post candidate should have full time regular Engineering bachelor degree in Mechanical / Production / Production & Industrial / Manufacturing / Mechanical & Automobile with Min. 65% Marks.
Executive Trainee (Electrical): To apply for this post candidate should have full time regular Engineering bachelor degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics with Min. 65% Marks.
Executive Trainee (Instrumentation): To apply for this post candidate should have full time regular Engineering bachelor degree in Instrumentation & Control / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electrical & Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical & Electronics with Min. 65% Marks.
Executive Trainee (Chemical): To apply for this post candidate should have full time regular Engineering bachelor degree in Chemical / Petrochemical / Chemical Technology / Petrochemical Technology with Min. 65 % Marks.

*Note: Engineering degree could be B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engg.
*Note: Relaxation in Percentage will be 5% for SC, ST, and PWD Candidates. Which means that SC, ST, PWD candidates should have atleast 60% of marks instead of 65%.

AGE LIMIT:-

Maximum age for applicant is 28 Years for all posts, but it is relaxable by 5 Years for SC / ST Candidates, by 3 Years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), by 10 Years for PWD Generals candidates and 15 Years for PWD-SC/ST candidates.

PAY SCALE & EMOLUMENTS:-

Selected candidates will be placed in probation cum Training period of 1 Year at a pay scale of Rs. 24,900 – 50,500/- with the basic pay of Rs. 24,900.
Candidates will also be paid Variable Dearness Allowance and Perks & Allowances at the applicable rate.
Performance based Variable pay will also be provided based on the performance of Individual and organization, Apart from this there are many more benefits like Medical Facility, Conveyance advance and HRA etc.
Candidates serving GAIL for minimum period of 15 Years will also entitled for the Pension and Post Retirement Medical benefits under contributory schemes of the company.

SELECTION PROCESS:-

For all the posts Selection will be based on (GATE -2014 Scores) Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering -2014 Scores.
Eligible Candidates interested in applying any of the above post have to undergo GATE-2014 Examination in the required discipline.
Based on requirement and GATE – 2014 Score candidates will be selected for Group discussion.
Selected candidates from group discussion will have to go under personal interview round.

HOW TO APPLY:-

Candidates first have to register for GATE – 2014.
With the registration number of Gate -2014 candidates need to apply online separately in GAIL between 23rd December, 2013 to 24th January, 2014.
A Candidate can apply for single Post/ Discipline only.
After successful submission of application candidate will be provide with unique registration number.
Candidate should take out the print out of the application and fix his/ her recent password size color photo and put signature at the space provided and keep it with them, as this needs to be produced at the time of Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
