EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Candidate applying for the post in eastern railway must be 10 passed OR ITI OR its equivalent recognized by Indian railways.

AGE LIMIT: Applicants interested to apply for the eastern railway recruitment vacancy must have attained the age of 18 years but should not exceed 33 years.

APPLICATION FEE: Desirous applicants have to submit the application fee of amount Rs.100/-.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST, PWD(PH), Women, Minority Communities, Ex-servicemen and Economically Backward classes/Sections are exempted from payment of examination fees.

MODE OF PAYMENT: Candidates have to submit the application fee through the demand draft/ pay order from any Nationalized Bank or crossed Indian Postal Order from any Post Office drawn in favour of “ Senior Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, Eastern Railway” payable at “KOLKATA” .

HOW TO APPLY:-

Candidates applying for the opening at eastern railway have to submit the application format in prescribed format on a single sheet on single side of good quality white paper of A4 size(210x297mm).
Applicants have to fill up the application using black gel or black ball pen in his/her own handwriting either in hindi or in english.
Candidates have to affix a color photograph of size 4.5 x 3.5 cm.
And finally mail the application to the following address:

Kolkata – 700 012”

*Note:

Application should be duly signed and dated.
Overwriting and cutting would lead to rejection of application form.
Candidates are advised to keep a photocopy of the application form for future use.
Candidates working in public sector/ have to apply through a proper channel with NOC.

The List of enclosures

• Attested, photocopy of certificates for DOB and qualification.

• Certificates/documents, which are in language other than in Hindi or English, should be translated into Hindi or English and enclosed along with the attested Xerox copies of originals.

• In case of SC/ST candidates, a certificate of their belonging to SC/ST category in the format given in Annexure-I.

• In case of OBC candidates, a certificate of their belonging to OBC in format as given in Annexure-II & Annexure-IX.

• In case of PWD/PH candidates the attested copy of the disability certificates in the format as given in Annexure-VI or Annexure-VII, which is applicable, should be attached.

• All PWD/PH candidates must go through the instructions as given in Annexure-V, VI & VII.

• In the case of Ex-Serviceman and Government Servants, attested copy of Certificate from the competent authority giving their length of service/attested copy of service book, discharge certificate in case of ESM.

• Only xerox, attested copies of certificates/documents should be enclosed. A Gazetted Officer should attest copies of Certificates. Original copy of certificate/document SHOULD NOT be enclosed with the application.

• No objection certificate from the employer, if already employed.

• Any certificate, photograph etc. received separately, subsequent to the receipt of application will not be entertained.
