Indira Gandhi National Open University Recruitment- 2013, For The Post Of Deputy Director (Software) & Assistant Director (Software) (Qualification: MCA/M. Sc. Computer Science/IT): Indira Gandhi National Open University invites application for the post of Deputy Director (Software) & Assistant Director (Software). • Deputy Director (Software)
• Assistant Director (Software)

DETAILS FOR THE POST OF DEPUTY DIRECTOR (SOFTWARE):-

Number of Vacancies: 02 Posts

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the post of Deputy Director (software) should have done MCA or M. Sc. Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade. 

Experience: Applying candidates should posses 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Director (Software) or in an equivalent post with Grade Pay of Rs.6600/-. 

 OR 

Have done a comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education.
Age Limit: Minimum age of the applying candidates should be 52 years.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get pay band of Rs. 15600 – 39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.7600/-

DETAILS FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT DIRECTOR (SOFTWARE):-

Number of Vacancies: 05 Posts

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Director (software) should have done MCA or M. Sc. in Computer Science/IT with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade.

Experience: Applying candidates should posses minimum of 5 years of experience in software development or ERP, computer programming and in conducting training programme in Computer Science/ Engg. Or IT.   Age Limit: Minimum age of the applying candidates should be 42 years.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get pay band of Rs.15600 – 39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-.

MODE OF SELECTION:-

• For the post of Dy. Director (Software): Candidates will be selected on the basis of Interview. 
• For the post of Assistant Director (Software): Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test followed by Interview.

• For general candidates Rs. 200/-
• For SC/ST candidates Rs. 100/-

Note: Women candidates and PWD category with minimum of 40% of disability are exempted from fee.
