Punjab Technical University Recruitment-2013, For The Post Of Director, Registrar, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar (Qualification: As Per The Post Specification): Punjab Technical University invites application for the post of Director, Registrar, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar. Candidates who find themselves eligible may apply as per the details given below:-

DETAILS FOR THE POST OF DIRECTOR:-
Qualification and Experience: Candidates applying for the post of Director should have done 
Ph.D degree with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with an outstanding academic record throughout and a minimum of 10 yrs experience as a Professor in a reputed educational Institute. 
OR 
A minimum of 10 years teaching/ research / industrial experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IIT’s, IISc Banglore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai and IISers or at an equivalent level.
Age Limit: Age of the applying candidates should be preferably below 55 years.
Pay Band & Grade Pay: Maximum Pay to be fixed at Rs.80,000/- per month. Pay shall be as per IIT norms.

DETAILS FOR THE POST OF REGISTRAR:-
Qualification and Experience: candidates applying for the post of Registrar should have done Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade. At least 15 years Experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.7000/-(or equivalent V CPC Scale) and above or 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs.8000/- (or equivalent V CPC Scale) and above. 
Including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration. 
OR
Comparable experience in research establishments and/or other institutions of Higher Education. 
OR
15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or equivalent post.
Age Limit: Age of the applying candidates should be preferably below 55 years.
Pay Band & Grade Pay: Selected candidates will get Rs.37400-67,000+ Grade Pay Rs.10,000/-.

DETAILS FOR THE POST OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:-
Qualification: Candidates applying for the post of Associate Professor should have done Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate 
branch with a vary good academic record throughout .
OR
A minimum of 6 years teaching/ research / industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor in IIT’s, IISc Banglore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai and IISers or at an equivalent level.
Age Limit: Age of the applying candidates should be preferably below 45 years.
Pay Band & Grade Pay: Selected candidates will get Rs. 37400-67000 with AGP of Rs.9500/-.

DETAILS FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT PROFESSORS:-
Qualification: Candidates applying for the post of assistant Professor should have done Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with consistently good academic record throughout.
Experience: At least 3 years industrial/research/teaching experience after completing Ph.D.
Pay Band & Grade Pay: Selected candidates will initially get Rs. 30,000/- plus allowances and after completion of 3 years the salary will be Rs.37400-67000 with AGP of Rs.9000/- plus allowances.

DETAILS FOR THE POST OF DEPUTY REGISTRAR:-
Qualification & Experience: Candidates applying for the post of Deputy Registrar should have done a master degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale along with Nine years of experience as Assistant Professor in the ACP of 6000 and above with experience in educational administration. 
OR 
Comparable experience in research establishment and/ other institutions of higher education. 
OR 
05 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post.
Pay Band & Grade Pay: Selected candidates will get Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.7,600/

DETAILS FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT REGISTRAR:
Qualification & Experience: Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Registrar should have done a master's degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent along with a good academic record as laid down by UGC.  
Pay Band & Grade Pay: Selected candidates will get Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

Rs. 250/- for SC/ST 
Rs. 500/- for others
