DETAILS FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT SUB INSPECTOR (STENOGRAPHER):-

Number of Vacancies: 25 Posts

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector should have passed Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or its equivalent. Shorthand/Typing speed: Applying candidates should have a minimum speed of Shorthand @ 80 words per minute in English OR in Hindi.

Physical Standards:-

Height:- Male Female

165 Cms 155 Cms

Chest:-

Male: Unexpanded Expanded

            77 Cms               82 Cms

Female: Not applicable for female candidates.

Weight: Corresponding to the height and age as per the medical standards.

Medical Standards:-

(a) Eye sight - The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in

other eye without correction, that is, without wearing of glasses or lenses.

(b) Candidates must not have Knock knee, Flat Foot, Squint in eyes Varicose vein and they should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect 

Age Limit: Age of the applying candidates should be between 18 to 25 years.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get - Rs.5200 - 20200 with grade pay Rs.2800/- in Pay Band-1.

DETAILS FOR THE POST OF HEAD CONSTABLE (MINISTERIAL):-

Number of Vacancies: 159 Posts

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the post of Head Constable (Ministerial) should have passed Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or its equivalent.

Shorthand/Typing speed: Applying candidates should have a minimum speed of Typing @ 35 words per minute in English OR @ 30 words per minute in Hindi.

Physical Standards:-

Height:             Male Female

Male: Unexpanded Expanded

                    77 Cms                82 Cms

Female: Not applicable for female candidates.

Weight: Corresponding to the height and age as per the medical standards.

Medical Standards:-

Female: Not applicable for female candidates.

Weight: Corresponding to the height and age as per the medical standards.

Medical Standards:-

(a) Should be medically fit in all respects. Eye sight-6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction.

(b) Candidate should not have knock knee/ flat foot/ squint/ colour blindness or any other defect which may render him/ her unfit for service in BSF.

Age Limit: Age of the applying candidates should be between 18 to 25 years.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get Rs.5200 - 20200 with grade pay Rs.2000/- in Pay Band-1.

APPLICATION FEE: Rs 50/-.

MODE OF PAYMENT: Crossed Bank Draft/Postal Order in favour of authority to whom the application is addressed, payable at respective SBI/Post office at the location.

• Three latest identical passport size photograph attested by a gazetted officer.
• Two self addressed envelops of size 25cms x 12 cms with postage stamp of Rs 39/- on each.
• Application and admit card signed by the candidate
