Name Of The Posts: Security Assistant (Executive)

Total Number of Vacancies: 532 Posts

Nature of Engagement:Temporary, but likely to continue.

Eligibility Conditions: Candidates applying for the current opening of Security Assistant (Executive) at Intelligence Bureau should have passed Matriculation (10th class pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education and have knowledge of local language as specified in the table at the bottom of the page.

Knowledge of Local Language/Dialect: Candidates applying for the vacancies of Intelligence Bureau are need to possess proper knowledge of the local language/dialect indicated against particular SIB/centre. Applying candidates should be able to read, write and speak the mentioned language/dialect.

Age Limit: Age of the applying candidates should not be more than 27 years of age as on February 17, 2014.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get Pay Band-1, Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.2000/- plus allowances at Central Govt. rates.

Selection Criteria: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the written test, Local Language Test and Personality Test. Further candidates need to go through character and antecedent verification and finally medical verification.

Woman candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST category are exempted from fee payment.

Mode Of Payment: Applicants can pay the fee either online of offline. To pay online candidates can submit the requisite amount of fee through Internet Banking and ATM-Cum-Debit Card, for candidates choosing the second option to submit the fee offline need to download the challan form and submit the cash at State Bank of India after the gap ok one working day. Candidates submitting the fee off line are required to retain counterfoil of the challan form returned by the bank during fee submission.

Candidates need to apply online only for Security Assistant (Executive) vacancy candidates need to fill in the details carefully to avoid rejection of application form and use a valid e-mail ID.
The application form is divided in two parts; in Part I candidates have to provide correct personal and academic information and part II relates to fee payment.
