Name Of The Post: Assistant Professor

Number of Vacancies: 12 Posts

Nature of Recruitment: Direct Recruitment

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professor should have done Post Graduate Degree with minimum 55% of marks and Ph.D. in the relevant discipline in Social/ Physical Sciences/ Agricultural Sciences / Computer Sciences/ Statistics/ Management.

OR

Master’s degree in any of the Technical disciplines with minimum 55% of marks and Ph.D.

OR

M.Tech. degree in any of the relevant Engineering discipline with minimum 55% of marks.

Experience: Applicants should have minimum Two years of experience in teaching in a recognize University or training and / or research in an Institution or relevant field experience in any Engineering/ Technological area relevant to Rural Development.

Age Limit: There is no age limit for the post of Assistant Professor. Candidates with disability are also eligible.

Salary Structure: NIRD follows UGC VI Pay Commission Scales of Pay for its faculty members. Selected candidates will get Rs.15600-39100 with AGP of Rs.6000/-.
