Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) was found in the year 1905 at Pusa (Bihar) and the Institute is popularly known as Pusa Institute is India’s premier national Institute for agricultural research, education and extension. The main functionality of Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) is Agriculture Department, Cattle Breeding, Chemistry, Economic Botany and Mycology. 

The institute was shifted to Delhi on 29th July, 1936, an attained the status of deemed University in the year 1958. At present The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) has 20 divisions, 5 multidisciplinary Centres situated in Delhi, 8 regional stations, 2 off-session nurseries, 3 All India Coordinated Research Projects with headquarter at Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) and 10 national Centres functioning under All India Coordinated Research Projects.

Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) is administered and financed by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The research for the “Green Revolution in India” in the year 1970s was the responsibility of Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI).

Educational Qualification:- 

Candidates applying for the vacancy of skilled worker must have passed Matriculation (10th) with and also possess field experience of working on agricultural crops.

Age Limit:-

Age of the applying candidates should be in between 18 to 30 years.

Emoluments:-

Selected candidates will get Rs. 8000/- P.M.

How To Apply:-

The candidates willing to appear for interview will have to bring filled and signed bio-data in the prescribed format only, original certificates, attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph.

Date and Time Of The Interview: 14th February, 2014 at 10:00 A.M.

Venue: Technology Cell, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi 110012.

Reporting Time: 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the Seminar Hall of Division of Genetics, IARI.
