The National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal was originally started as Imperial Institute of Animal Husbandry and Dairying in 1923 at Bangalore. It was expanded and renamed as Imperial Dairy Institute in 1936 and was known as National Dairy Research Institute after independence in 1947.

The National Dairy Research Institute as the premier Dairy Research Institution undertakes research, teaching and extension activities towards dairy development in the country. Name Of The Post:-

• Technical Assistant (Field/ Farm): 4 Posts

• Technical Assistant (Laboratory): 1 Post

Nature Of Employment: On Temporary Basis

Educational Qualification (Technical Assistant -Field/ Farm): Candidates applying for the post of Technical Assistant (Field/ Farm) should have done Bachelor’s in Veterinary Sciences/ Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry or its equivalent qualification.

Educational Qualification (Technical Assistant -Laboratory): Candidates applying for the recruitment of Technical Assistant (Laboratory) must have done Bachelor’s in Science with Chemistry and any two of the following: Zoology, Botany, Physics, Genetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology or its equivalent.

Educational Qualification (Technical Assistant -Laboratory): Candidates interested to apply for the post of Technical Assistant (Laboratory) must hold the degree Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Chemistry and any two of the following: Zoology, Botany, Physics, Genetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology or its equivalent.

Age Limit: Age of the applying candidates should be above 18 years below 30 years.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get pay band of Rs. 5200-20200 + Rs.2800/- (GP).

Application Fee: Candidates applying for government recruitment at NDRI need to pay Rs.100/-.

Mode of Payment: Applicants are required to issue Demand Draft in favor of ICAR-UNIT-NDRI” payable at Karnal.
