• Category I – Civil Engineering
• Category II – Mechanical Engineering
• Category III – Electrical Engineering
• Category IV – Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

Educational Qualification:-

Candidates applying for the current vacancies of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) need to have a degree in engineering in respective trade and must have passed sections A and B of the institution examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India).

Age Limit:-

An applicant applying for the Engineering Services Examination-2014 with Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) should be in between 21 years to 30 Years.

Application Fees:-

An applicant applying for Engineering Services Examination (ESE)-2014 with Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Rs. 200.00 for General/ OBC Category to be paid through any of electronic mode of payment but Female/SC/ST/PH are exempted from payment of any fees.
