Vacancies at Indian Army, For JAG Entry Law Graduates Both Men & Women: Indian Army has issued a recruitment notification for JAG entry Scheme 14th Course APR 2015 Short Service Commission (NT) for both men and women law graduates. Only unmarried women and  Married/ Unmarried male law graduate candidates can apply for grant of Short Service Commission in the Indian Army for Judge Advocate General Dept. Willing candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the JAG entry scheme

Vacancies at Indian Army, For JAG Entry Law Graduates Both Men & Women: Complete Vacancy Details:-

Number of current vacancies in Indian Army:-

• For men: 10 Vacancies
• For Unmarried Women: 04

Eligibility Criteria for Applying candidates in Indian Army through JAG Entry Scheme:-

Nationality: Applying candidates must be Indian only.

Age Limit: Age limit for the applying candidates should not be between 21 to 27 years.

Education Qualification: Candidates applying for current vacancies in Indian 

Army through JAG Entry Scheme should have done LLB with minimum 55 % and be eligible for registration with bar council of India/State.

Note: Candidates should have done LLB from college/ university recognised by Bar council of India.

Physical Standards: For qualifying the JAG entry scheme in Indian Army candidates need to qualify the physical standards as mentioned below:-

Height And Weight:- 

• For men candidates applying in Indian Army minimum height is 157.5 cm with correlated weight
• For women candidates applying in Indian Army minimum height is 152 cm and 42Kg weight

Note:-

• North East and hilly areas like Gorkhas, Nepalese, Assamese and Garhwalis candidates are relaxed by 5 cms of height and corresponding weight.
