Initially ITBP was under CRPF act , however later it came into existence on October 24, 1962. ITBP is specialized mountain Force guarding border from Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Jachep La in Arunachal Pradesh covering 3488 km of Indo-China Border.

Education qualification for the vacancy of Head Constables at ITBP:-

Candidates willing to apply for ITBP vacancy under government of India mush have passed 10+2 (PCM) with minimum 45% of marks OR 10th pass with two years of Industrial Training Institute certificate in Electronics/ Electrical /Computers OR 10th Pass (PCM) with 3 years of diploma in electronics/ communication/instrumentation/ Computer Science. IT/ electrical from recognized board.

Application fee for ITBP head Constables: Rs 50/-

Mode of Payment of application fee for ITBP head Constables: Candidates applying for ITBP head Constables need to submit the application fee by CRFS only. The CRFS are available at all Post Office. Candidate should get it canceled from the issuing office with the impression of date and issuing office on it .
